Ans1. Reproduction is important for the continuation of the species.
Ans2. Fertilisation in human beings is Internal fertilisation. It take
place insife the fallopian tube of the female.
Ans5. Zygote is formed after fertilisation. Zygote is a single cell.
foetus is formed by division of zygote. foetus is made of many cells.
Ans6. Reproduction that involves one parent is called asexual reproduction.
Two methods are: (1) Binary fission - An organism splits into two.
Example - Amoeba
(2) Budding - A small bud originates from parent
and give rise to new.
Example: Hydra.
