PACHMARHI

Pachmarhi is a hill station of madhya. Biologically it is an important venue. Its a Biosphere reserve in satpura Hills.
I found some biological pollution indicators on the barks of sal (Shorea robusta) trees in pachmarhi. rhesus macaques.and giant squirrel was also spotted by me during my visit.

LICHENS IN PACHMARHI

Pachmarhi is a Biospher reserve of Satpura Range it is a pollution free Zone as suggested by the Presence of lichens on the barks of Sal trees.

They are symbiotic association of Algae and Fungi and Pollution level Indicators.
